Anticipated Reads of 2022 (Part 1)

I’m adding Part 1 to the title of this post because, obviously, as I hear about new releases for next year this list is going to grow and, eh, grow. So to start with, here’s a listing of books that I’m excited about reading in 2022.

  • THE DROWNED CITY by K.J. Maitland
  • TRAITOR IN THE ICE by K.J. Maitland
  • BEGGARS ABBEY by V.L. Valentine
  • ALL THE QUEEN’S MEN by SJ Bennett
  • THE DYING DAY by Vaseem Khan
  • THE MIDWIFE’S SECRET by Emily Gunnis
  • DEATH IN THE SUNSHINE by Steph Broadribb
  • MOONLIGHT AND THE PEARLER’S DAUGHTER by Lizzie Pook
  • HE STARTED IT by Samantha Downing
  • THE TURN OF THE KEY by Ruth Ware
  • MISS ALDRIDGE REGRETS by Louise Hare
  • THE BALLOON THIEF by Aneesa Marufu

More coming soon no doubt thanks to great reviewers and many book bloggers I follow on twitter, who always manage to make my wish list grow rather than shrink!

Of course, if you have any recommendations, please share them with me in the comments, thanks.

    • I’m hearing so many good things about Downing so yeah, can’t wait to get stuck in at some point.

  1. The books, they never stop coming, hey? 😛 I had very few 2022 on my TBR til I started reading everyone’s anticipated posts. One I am now keeping an eye out for is The Bone Orchard by Sara A. Mueller.

    • Nope, and we’re happier for the fact. But boy does it all make a dent in my bank balance!! But seriously, I love book twitter for all the recommendations of what’s coming and who’s read what. And see, already have another book I have to go check out. Ha! Ha!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a safe, happy New Year!
