Week notes for June 9 – 15, 2025

Things last week

The week ended last night with my being as sick as dog after eating something that didn’t agree with me. And that’s being polite. The nausea started at around half past midnight and didn’t let up till almost 4am, whereupon I slept fitfully for the next couple of hours. I just wish I could pinpoint what it is that sets me off but I’m running out of food groups.

Favourite thing this week

Finding a fantasy book (series) I fell in love with. The Tainted Cup was an absolute joy to read and I can’t wait to get a hold of book two, A Drop of Corruption. A big thank you to all of you who suggested this series.

Writing

I’ve been digging through my archives of posts from previous years, and previous blogs and, like a few other bloggers (Sylvia and Jedda) I’ve been having fun posting these trips down memory lane.

Reading

Watching

• We binged watched The Acolyte on Disney this weekend and, yesterday started on a rewatch of the Mandalorian (again!) You know, because. My fav character is still the Engineer (next to Mondo and Grogu of course).
