Case Histories – Season 1 (2011) ★★★☆☆ ​

Oddly disturbing, graphically violent in places, and meandering in others (I mean, there’s only so much of watching this guy run that you can take before you have to ask yourself, why?) Case Histories featuring Jason Isaacs in the lead role, is a rather disjointed show about a rough around the edges PI (ex-police) who is more a walking cliche than is necessary.

It was, however, nice to see a ton of guest stars get to gripes with some wonderfully OTT performances. Otherwise, this one was a little too dramatic in all the worst possible ways.

That said, we started watching season 2 last night … it’s not much better.
